Rental History Reports performs background screening on behalf of thousands of client companies and may have personal information on you as a result of a property lease application you have submitted to one of our clients. Rental History Reports gathers information from multiple sources on behalf of our clients and does not make any leasing decisions.
The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) allows consumers to obtain a copy of consumer reports if denied credit because of information contained on the report. Rental History Reports is unable to discuss the contents of the report until you have received a copy. This web site is provided as an alternative to submitting written requests via mail. When you click ACCESS REPORT you will be asked to enter identifying personal information.

When requesting a copy via mail be sure to include your full name, full address for return mailing, social security number, date of birth, and signature for verification. Requests are also accepted via fax (952-545-3973), but report copies cannot be faxed to you. All report copies will be mailed within 3 business days.
You will only be able to view reports prepared by Rental History Reports that:
1) match your identifying information,
2) are completed within the past 60 days.
If you have not applied for a property lease with one of our clients in the past 90 days, we offer a direct-to-consumer personal background report. At our My Rental History Report site you can obtain a personal copy of your rental history report similar to what our clients order.
Submit a Dispute
The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) allows consumers to dispute information contained on their background reports. Disputes are promptly investigated but may take up to 30 days to be resolved, as provided for in the FCRA. This website is provided as an alternative to submitting written dispute requests via mail. When you click CREATE DISPUTE you will be asked to enter personal identifying information.
Before submitting a dispute make sure you have your background report in front of you. You can access your report by clicking ACCESS REPORT above.
