Statewide Criminal Search
Provides criminal records as reported by statewide criminal data repositories. Think of this search as a mile wide and a foot deep. Some of the features of a statewide criminal search include:
- Repository records can typically be accessed immediately via an automated system and are relatively inexpensive.
- Repositories cover a broad area.
- Repositories do not originate any information – they wait for counties to forward conviction information.
- Repository records typically contain convictions only.
